Our Story
Dr Chris Church attended the University of Guelph for his Animal Science (OAC'96) and Veterinary degrees (OVC'00) and practiced with the Tavistock Veterinarians for 15 years. He focused on dairy production medicine, embryo transfer, and IVF. He led their data reporting and co-led a quarterly management club.
In 2015, he joined Elanco Animal Health (Canada) to focus on Transition cow health but later moved to their Process Efficiency group. This team worked with large farms, mills, and other agricultural businesses to help make them more profitable.
Chris realized his 'Why' is to help dairy producers succeed, so he returned to Guelph for an MBA in agriculture to better help farms relate productivity with profitability.
We founded Central to help progressive farms understand how to be more profitable. You work hard, and deserve to be successful. You probably already have a vet, feed advisor, lender and accountant, but they tend to speak different languages. We work in the middle ('Central') to help you find clarity and financial certainty.
